Happylegs in the presentation of the "Spanish Document of consensus on the Tourist Class Syndrome"
3rd July, 2003

The presentation of this document to the press was the responsibility of two of the experts who participated in its elaboration: Doctor Miguel Ángel Santos Gastón, president of the Foundation for the Study and Prevention of Vein Diseases (FespreV) and Doctor Francesc Casals Solé, haematologist of the Barcelona Clinic Hospital.
Happylegs was present and, with great satisfaction, we verified the fundamental importance of prevention in avoiding serious problems associated with insufficient venous circulation.
It was officially announced that the Document on the Tourist Class Syndrome forms part of a wider declaration, elaborated by FespreV, under the title "Document on Free Time Vascular Accidents", where preventative guidelines are established within the wide context of “free time”: air travel, transport in general, tourism, sport, leisure and sedentary lifestyles.
